MATERIAL HANDLING

INVENTORY CONTROL

Industrial Engineering research shows that the costs of handling materials often accounts for 50% of their costs.  It is also commonly know that 80% of the activity occurs with 20% of the materials.

Moving your most active 20% of small to medium size materials to a vertical carousel will greatly reduce your floor space but, more importantly, reduce your labor costs.

Reynolds carries the complete line of Kardex Material Handling systems. In 1952 Kardex produced the first vertical carousel. And in 1965, developed the Industriever, a vertical carousel for materials handling. Now more than 30 years later, over 70% are still in service.

As with all systems from Reynolds complete design, installation, training, and on-going local service and support are all included.

The Kardex Industriever vertical carousel increases productivity in high pick-and-put situations as much as 125%. Ideal for small parts assembly lines, inventory storage, work-in-process and warehousing, its fingertip delivery within seconds saves time and reduces operator fatigue.

  • Allows maximum throughput with minimum effort, thus increasing operator efficiency

  • Can handle up to twice the imbalance capability of comparable products

  • Overspeed controls and disc brakes provide increased operator safety

  • Locked units protect materials from unauthorized access and provide greater security

  • Electronic Control Panel: Integrated microprocessor controls choose shortest route to selected shelf

  • Maximum load per carrier of 600 lbs

  • Upper and lower safety bar

  • Infra-red safety eyes

  • Safety status panel

  • Optional full width fluorescent light

  • Four-point tracking in the arc allows for maximum carrier support

  • Freestanding end frame allows greater unit payload capacity

  • Variable Speed DC drive allows optimum efficiency

  • Handcrank allows manual operation of the unit

Material Control Software (MCS):

MCS is as simple or as sophisticated as you need it to be—from a basic parts location program to a networked inventory management system...

  • Guarantees inventory accuracy

  • Eliminates search time

  • Speeds multi-part retrievals

  • Reduces operator errors

  • Accelerates, simplifies kitting

  • Allows easy exception handling

  • Enhances JIT stocking

  • Improves internal material flow
