Enormous volumes of information are securely stored on archival microfilm media.  Much of this information has permanent value and will be actively referenced for years to come.

In situations where a low cost paper printout is the goal, an analog reader printer is the most cost effective, simple solution.

Reynolds carries a complete line of microfilm reader printers and supplies from a variety of manufacturers.  In particular, Minolta's line of analog reader printers covers the range from low volume, letter size units to high volume, engineering printers.

Reynolds expertise in reader printer setup will be up and running quickly and your users will be thoroughly trained.  Our technical support staff provides on-going, local service and support.

Minolta RP600Z

The RP600Z is everything a reader/printer should be. It's compact, so it can be placed on a desk or table wherever you need quick access to your films. It's quieter than any other model in its class so it can be used in any office environment without bothering those working nearby. And it is low-cost.

The 18-36x zoom lens provides maximum magnification ease and versatility while eliminating the need to frequently change lenses. This lens also permits 8-1/2" x 11" (A4) viewing and printing of all common COM formats.

All controls are neatly arrayed at the front of the unit, near the natural hand position of the operator. Prints are delivered into the front-mounted, built-in print tray just below the control panel.

Large 12" x 12" screen permits viewing of entire letter-size (A4) documents at normal magnification.

First letter-size print appears in just 14.5 seconds. Subsequent prints are produced at the rate of 6 prints per minute, or 5 prints per minute for A4-size prints.

The paper cassette holds up to 150 sheets of letter-size (A4) plain paper, reducing the need to frequently stop printing in order to refill the cassette.

The microfiche carrier permits viewing of microfiche, jackets, and aperture cards.

Skewed images can be manually adjusted using the image rotation knob for perfect printing alignment every time.

Accessories

Bi-modal Printing: Permits printing of positive images from both negative and positive films with a simple change of imaging units. An optional bi-modal printing unit can also be ordered for the uni-mode model.

Roll Film Carrier 12: Provides the capability to view and print images from 16mm open reel film, making it a low-cost solution for both fiche and 16mm film.

Minolta RP603Z

Among the most powerful reader-printers in its class, the Konica Minolta RP603Z combines advanced features with sleek design, compact size, and cost-effective operation.

Prints at up to 10 pages per minute, with first print in 10 seconds.

Exclusive Micro-Toning system produces clear, high-contrast prints from every type of film.

Supports a wide range of film and fiche carriers.

Four types of lenses that provide all the magnification ratios needed -- from a single-focus 7.5x lens, to zoom lenses that span 9 - 16x, 13 - 27x, or 23 - 50x zoom ratios. Senses film exposure and automatically adjusts to the appropriate level.

Use LCD buttons to manually mask unnecessary information from your print.

Automatically adjusts up to 30° to compensate for images that were slanted during the filming process.

Konica Minolta MARS 4 or MARS Mini 2 Controller enable your computer-aided retrieval software to automatically search, retrieve, and print blipped microfilm roll images.

Accessories

Bi-Mode Unit: Provides automatic mode sensing to automatically determine film type so you get a positive printout from both negative and positive film. Bi-Mode Printing (option): The bi-mode printing option gives you positive printouts whether you are using negative or positive film; an optional Automatic Mode Sensor eliminates that need to change film type settings manually.

Auto Masking/Auto Centering Unit: Automatically masks border frame areas and centers your image for printing.

Manual Masking Upgrade Unit: Allows you to eliminate unnecessary information by using front-panel LCD buttons to mark the area to be masked.

Auto Image Rotation Unit: Automatically senses portrait/landscape orientation and rotates the image for correct printing.

Productivity Plus Package: Combines all the productivity options you want in one complete package: Auto Focus, Auto Skew Correction, Auto Masking, Auto Centering, and Auto Image Rotation.

Lenses: Single-focus 7.5x, Zoom 9 - 16x, 13 - 27x, or 23 - 50x; all lenses are the same as used by Konica Minolta RP605Z and MicroSP2000.

Minolta RP609Z

Konica Minolta's RP609Z Reader/Printer offers a new level of convenience and versatility for users of filmed blueprints and other large-format documents. It's a better way to retrieve and print large-format documents.

Standard on the RP609Z, the powerful 7x to 24x zoom lens eliminates the need to frequently change lenses. Zooming is motorized; a touch of a switch delivers smooth, even zooming for viewing and printing at a variety of magnifications. And zooming can be performed in increments as small as 0.1x, providing optimum ratios and assuring a perfect fit when enlarging portions of documents to a certain paper size.

Four zoom memory keys make zooming as easy as the touch of a single button. Simply set them to the most often used zoom ratios, then the next time you need to use a particular zoom ratio, just press the appropriate zoom memory key.

Konica Minolta's dry Micro-Toning system, optical technology and electronic automatic exposure control system combine to ensure superior image quality print after print even from films of varying densities. Manual adjustment over a wide exposure range is also possible for handling films with special requirements.

First print delivered in the output tray in just 15 seconds.  Subsequent prints are even faster - up to six prints per minute for 18" x 24" (A2) prints. The RP609Z can produce up to 99 copies per print run.

The ergonomically designed control panel ensures quick and convenient control of all functions, including zooming, focusing, and printing.

Three-way paper feeding system with two paper rolls and a manual feed table for greater printing convenience and versatility. The two paper rolls can be different sizes for greater printing versatility.  The manual feed table lets you feed individual sheets of paper, vellum, colored stock, etc. without changing paper rolls.

The Automatic Card Feeder 2 holds up to 150 aperture cards and offers both manual and automatic card feeding. In both modes, the first card is fed and positioned for viewing in less than two seconds from the time the Feed button is pressed. In the automatic mode, cards can be fed in any of three ways for optimum efficiency - Single Card, Multiple Card, and Multiple Card/Print. Two manual control knobs permit fine adjustment of the image's vertical and horizontal position.

Accessories

Optional Carriers for Three Film Types: The ACF-2 Automatic Card Feeder handles aperture cards, holding up to 150 cards and automatically feeding and ejecting them at your command. The FC-6 Fiche Carrier handles microfiche, jackets and aperture cards with equal ease. The RFC-16, a three-speed Roll Film Carrier, is the choice for viewing 16/35mm open reel film as well as aperture cards.

Automatic Card Feeder 2: ACF-2 handles aperture cards, holding up to 150 cards and automatically feeding and ejecting them at your command.

Fiche Carrier: FC-6 is designed for fast, simple viewing of microfiche, jackets and aperture cards.

Roll Film Carriers: RFC-16 handles both 16mm and 35mm roll films as well as aperture cards, with three operating speeds to enhance efficiency during retrieval and rewinding.
